School-Linked Behavioral Health Therapist (Owatonna Area Learning Center, Owatonna High School and Wilson Elementary)
South Central Human Relations Center is seeking to provide full-time mental health therapist. The school-linked therapist will work in the school setting to provide individual, group, and family therapy to students who would otherwise not be able to access services due to socioeconomical barriers. The school-linked therapist will work collaboratively with school personnel to increase awareness of mental health and best practices, as well as participate in IEP and other important meetings that directly impact a student’s success and mental wellness.
The School-Linked Behavioral Health Therapist will:
· Receive referrals from the school.
· Apply evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer clients appropriately.
· Maintain complete records of treatment and data reporting elements.
· Work collaboratively within the school culture to provide education, consultation, coordination of care, and support to staff and students.
· Be part of the team of mental health professionals and practitioners at South Central Human Relations Center’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.
· Provide services to clients to clients on an Outpatient basis during non-school days. Duties may include conducting Comprehensive Evaluations, providing therapy, providing family psychoeducation, and assisting the CTSS program as needed.
Educational and Experiential Requirements:
· Mental Health Professional with current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC, or a Clinical Trainee working toward licensure under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional.
Wage and Benefits:
· $30 - $35 per hour, depending on licensure status and level of experience.
