Our Outpatient Therapists are independently licensed mental health professionals and clinical trainees who provide mental health care to clients on an outpatient basis. Therapists conduct Comprehensive Evaluations (Diagnostic Assessments), write Integrated Treatment Plans, make referrals, and provide evidence-based therapies to clients of all ages and demographics. Therapists work alongside a wide range of other service providers to assist clients in reaching their goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose mental health disorders
• Provide evidence-based and client-centered therapy to clients
• Collaborate with the client and treatment team to write Integrated Treatment Plans
• Make referrals according to client needs
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings
• Adhere to the highest ethical standards
• Maintain accurate and timely records
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to accurately assess and diagnose mental health conditions in clients of all ages
• Knowledge of and competence in delivering evidence-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered therapeutic techniques
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to successfully collaborate with others
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound clinical judgments, within the scope of professional practice
• Ability to learn the Electronic Health Record and keep accurate and up to date records
• Efficient time-management and organizational skills
Education and Experience:
• Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health field.
• Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC or doctoral level LP in the State of Minnesota (preferred)
• Qualifies as a Clinical Trainee working toward independent licensure as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC or doctoral level LP

Work will be conducted primarily in the office setting, with potential opportunity for some work from home via telehealth.
